Do not treat the Acadia corner as an extra waiting space
The College Park and College Park East review recommends a crossing with curb extensions at Carleton Drive and Acadia Drive, plus distinct parking restrictions at Acadia Place and other Acadia junctions to preserve sightlines.

A vehicle-shopping plan for College Park
For your own College Park arrival, check the exact current stopping arrangement before deciding how a replacement vehicle fits it. A corner that looks wider on the map is not a spare parking bay. Compare door access and the path passengers take from a lawful parked space, with a separate check of your own stall or garage.
- Name Carleton or Acadia Place rather than just Acadia Drive.
- Keep the corner and crossing out of pickup waiting plans.
- Try the passenger-loading sequence in a permitted stationary space at the dealership.
