Check both the block and the side
The City lists Riversdale as a Limited Residential Parking Program zone. Its linked document specifies street sides as well as blocks: examples include the south side of the 400 block of 18th Street West, west-side blocks on Avenue C South, and north-side blocks on Spadina Crescent.
That detail changes the useful check before a vehicle replacement. Find your actual address on the Riversdale zone document rather than assuming a whole street or neighbourhood is covered. Read the current City instructions and posted signs for your situation.
Prepare for the car change
- Record the civic address, block and side you want the City to confirm if coverage is unclear.
- Ask how to update an existing permit for the replacement vehicle, or what applies if you are applying for the first time.
- Keep a permitted parking option for handover day until the necessary arrangements are complete.
The shared program rules belong on the City parking page; they are not a separate financing rule for Riversdale. Use the buying guide for the inspection and written offer, then discuss your specific vehicle and parking requirements with Brenden.
